Mark Nagurski

Co-Founder & CEO at Makematic

Mark Nagurski is the Co-Founder and CEO of Makematic. Prior to Makematic, Mark was the Festival Director/CEO of Culture Tech Festival from April 2012 to October 2015. Culture Tech became one of the largest tech/creative industries event in Northern Ireland with over 100,000 people taking part over four years. In addition to the festival, Mark developed world's first large-scale roll-out of Minecraft in schools in partnership with industry and government. These initiatives have been covered by The Economist, BBC, Guardian, Telegraph, CNN, The Atlantic, National Geographic and USA Today among others.

From August 2010 to March 2012, Mark was the Digital Champion for Digital Derry tasked with developing and supporting the technology and creative industries sectors.

Mark has also worked as a Principal from October 2004 to March 2012 and as the Owner of Moon Tower Marketing from May 1998 to May 2004.

Mark Nagurski's educational career began at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where they studied international relations.
