Aakash Kumar is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in user experience and design leadership. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Design at MakeMyTrip.com since September 2012, Aakash has significantly contributed to the development of user-centered strategies across various business verticals, leading a multidisciplinary design team. Prior to this role, Aakash spent five years at Emantras as a Design Manager/User Experience Designer, establishing user experience design as a crucial part of project life cycles and leading innovative design initiatives. Aakash's career began at Infosys Technologies Ltd. as a User Interface Designer, where responsibilities included designing user experiences for web applications and conducting user research. Aakash holds a Master of Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
