Bhanu Sharma

Bhanu Sharma has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Bhanu began their career in 1998 as the VP of Information Systems and Marketing at AIESEC India. In 2000, they co-founded Wanadu, Inc. and served as the VP of Products until 2003. Bhanu then joined Latitude Communications as a Senior Product Manager for web conferencing. In 2004, Bhanu joined Adobe as a Senior Product Manager and later became an Entrepreneur in Residence. From 2007 to 2008, they served as the Director of Product Management at Skyfire. In 2008, Bhanu became a Product Advisor to startups at Product People. Bhanu then worked at Socialcast as an Advisor from 2009 to 2011. Bhanu was then appointed as the Vice President of Frontier Products at Sony Mobile Communications from 2011 to 2012. In 2010, they also took up a role as a Mentor at 500 Startups, which continued until 2018. Finally, in 2012, Bhanu founded their own company, Maker, where they currently serve as the Founder and CEO.

Bhanu Sharma has pursued higher education from two different institutions. In 1995, Bhanu enrolled at Panjab University and successfully completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Management in 1998. Later, in 2011, Bhanu attended Stanford University for a short period and studied Design Thinking. However, no specific degree was obtained during this time.
