Michael Cheung

Michael Cheung is a co-founder and general partner at Makers Fund, a $1.5 billion AUM venture capital fund focused on the Interactive Entertainment industry since January 2017. With extensive experience in the gaming sector, Michael served as a board director for multiple successful companies, including Dream Games, which exited for a multi-billion dollar enterprise value, Savage Game Studios, and FACEIT Ltd., which sealed a $1.5 billion deal. Michael also held investment roles in companies like Loco and Popcore, contributing to their significant exits. Prior to his venture capital career, Michael worked as a senior director at Tencent and a senior engagement manager at McKinsey & Company, specializing in advanced analytics. Michael holds a BEng in Engineering and a research scholarship from the University of Warwick.
