Daniel Coats

Daniel Coats is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in strategic leadership and financial management. Currently serving as Chief Strategy Officer at Maker's Pride since April 2025, Coats previously held the same title at Hearthside Food Solutions, where responsibilities included executing strategic plans and enhancing organizational communication. Coats also functioned as Interim Chief Financial Officer at Hearthside, overseeing finance, procurement, and IT departments to leverage big data for business insights. Prior to Hearthside, Coats had a long tenure at The Coca-Cola Company, culminating in the role of Senior Vice President and Franchise General Manager for Coca-Cola Canada, where strategic growth and consumer insight initiatives were key focuses. Coats began a career in finance at Kellogg Company and possesses multiple advanced degrees, including an MBA with a focus on Finance from Michigan State University.
