Edward Andress is a software engineer and technical coach currently serving as the Head of Curriculum (Software Development) at Makers. Beginning their career in academia with a focus on biology, Edward retrained as a software developer and spent three years at the Ministry of Justice, contributing to various digital tools for governmental use. Now in their third career, Edward has held multiple roles at Makers, including Interim Head of Apprenticeships Coaching, and has played a vital role in mentoring over 400 junior developers. Edward also holds a PhD in Epigenetics from Imperial College London.
