Kirill Ivanov

Kirill Ivanov has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to the present. Kirill is currently employed at MakerSights as a Principal Architect, where they have been working since 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Software Engineer 2 at the same company from 2021 to 2023. Before joining MakerSights, Kirill was a Senior Solutions Architect at The University of British Columbia from 2019 to 2021, where they played a pivotal role in integrating legacy applications with the Workday cloud system. Kirill also worked as a Software Architect at Rise People in 2019, focusing on system architecture for microservices in AWS cloud. Kirill has a strong background in solutions architecture and software development, having held positions such as Solutions Architect, Software Architect, and Lead Developer at Positive Technologies from 2012 to 2019. In these roles, they demonstrated expertise in setting architectural goals, coordinating with management, and leading development teams. Prior to that, Kirill worked as a Lead Developer at Screen Dots from 2007 to 2012, where they played a key role in launching and supporting browser multiplayer games. Kirill also briefly served as a Lead Developer at Falkor Media in 2006. Kirill Ivanov attended Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics. Prior to that, they studied Computer Science at Lomonosov Moscow State University from 2005 to 2008. Before entering university, Kirill attended school 1260 from 1990 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, Kirill obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2021.
