Fabian Hassel

Fabian Hassel has extensive work experience in the fields of environmental reporting, management, and product sustainability. Fabian has held various roles throughout their career, starting in 2008 as a Consultant at PE International, where they focused on life cycle assessment and product sustainability. In 2011, they joined PE North West Europe as a Senior Consultant, leading product lifecycle assessment projects in the Nordics and Great Britain. From 2012 to 2014, they worked at thinkstep, serving as the Team Leader of the data team and later as a Product Manager, responsible for the maintenance and development of the GaBi Database. In 2014, they joined Emisoft AS and held multiple roles, including COO and Product Director, where they played a key role in the company's strategic reorientation and rebranding. Most recently, in 2018, they became the VP of Services at Makersite. Overall, Fabian Hassel has a strong background in environmental and product management, with emphasis on data quality assurance, life cycle assessment, and sustainability.

Fabian Hassel completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Forestry from The University of Göttingen from 2001 to 2005. Fabian then pursued further education and obtained a Diplom in Geoökologie from Technische Universität Braunschweig from 2006 to 2008.
