Scott Simms

Scott Simms is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software development and product design. Currently, Scott serves as a Product Developer at APPro, where a popular speed sailing watch app is developed, endorsed by GPS Speed Sailing. Scott has held multiple significant positions, including Software Developer at GE Capital and the Department of Land Administration, where expertise in Java, C++, and distributed systems was utilized. Additionally, Scott has served as Technical Adviser in an independent capacity, focusing on software architecture, cloud computing, and product development. Leadership roles as Principal Architect and Technical Director/CTO were held at various companies, including Beacon Technology Ptd Ltd and Satalyst Pty Ltd. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Science from Edith Cowan University.
