Alyssa Valerio

Alyssa Valerio is the current Director of Business Operations at MakeSchool. Alyssa has held this position since May 2021. Prior to this, they were the Business Operations Associate at Make School from January 2021 to May 2021. Alyssa has also worked as the Senior Revenue Manager, Group Strategy at Marriott International from November 2018 to November 2020 and as the Revenue Manager at Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina from May 2016 to November 2018. Alyssa started their career in the hospitality industry as the Group Sales Coordinator at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. from March 2015 to May 2016. In this role, they were responsible for completing the administrative needs of the Sales Department, responding to sales inquiries, creating and editing RFPs, contracts, proposals, and addendums, resolving sales-related issues with customers, and creating and turning over sales files to the proper departments. Alyssa also worked as the Assistant Front Office Manager at Omni Hotels & Resorts from May 2012 to March 2015.

Alyssa Valerio is a student at San Diego State University pursuing a Bachelors of Applied Arts and Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
