Olivia G.

Olivia G. has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a Product Designer at Makeship since January 2023. In this role, they are responsible for creating plush designs using Adobe Illustrator and ensuring that they align with Makeship brand standards. Additionally, they communicate closely with representatives in China to overcome manufacturing roadblocks and analyzes product samples with attention to detail.

Prior to their current role, Olivia worked as a Junior Product Designer at Makeship from November 2021 to January 2023. Here, they created plush designs, communicated with representatives in China, and analyzed product samples for schematic variations, colors, fabrics, and more.

Olivia also held the position of Member at the Canadian Toy Association starting from June 2022.

Before that, they worked at Joyin, Inc. as a Product Designer & Illustrator from July 2021 to November 2021. In this role, Olivia created designs in Illustrator, product templates, and 3D mock-ups. Olivia maintained organized project files in Dropbox and communicated with project managers regarding ideas, progress, and revisions.

Finally, Olivia began their career at Indigo as a Customer Experience Leader from October 2016 to July 2021.

Olivia G. obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a specialization in DRPT: Digital Painting & Expanded Animation from OCAD University. Olivia attended the university from 2017 to 2021.
