Laura Ryan currently serves as Chief People Officer at SoSafe since May 2024 and has been Chairperson of the Board and Board Member at MakingConnections since September 2017. Previously, Ryan held various leadership roles at Dropbox from October 2015 to June 2024, including Vice President of Global HR Business Partnering and Senior Director of HR Business Partnering, where strategic HR initiatives and talent management were successfully implemented across EMEA and APJ. Ryan’s HR career began at Google from August 2010 to September 2015, where significant contributions were made as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner and HR Lead for Geo Operations. Earlier roles include several positions at Aviva between September 2003 and August 2010, with a focus on rewards and compensation. Ryan holds a Professional Diploma in Business and Executive Coaching from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Commerce from the University of Galway.
