MAKR is a design-driven development company shaping commercial, industrial and residential environments across Queensland’s coastline through architecture, landscape, culture and place. From workstores and industrial developments to commercial and retail, to residential, resort and lifestyle precincts, each architecturally-led project is considered part of a broader urban and business narrative, designed to evolve with the communities around it.

Part of the B.P. Wharton Group, MAKR is founded on decades of family experience in property, business, and law, bringing together diverse disciplines under one trusted name. What began as a single-focus enterprise has grown into a multi-division group, and across every venture, the same principles hold: meticulous judgement, long-term thinking, and an unwavering standard of excellence in delivery. The founders' breadth of experience and vision informs a measured yet uniquely fresh approach to development, grounded in long-term thinking and strategic site selection. With a focus on quality, timing, and market understanding, MAKR delivers projects shaped by legacy, experience, innovation, and forward vision.
