Málà Project is a restaurant brand with a mission to deliver joy through neo-Sichuanese cuisine to the United States' mainstream dining scene. From fiery MáLà Dry Pots to comforting Northern Chinese classics, it’s a cozy place to gather around with your friends and family.

The first location was founded by four friends in the East Village in the winter of 2015, and the second location was established two years later in Bryant Park. The third location opened on 53rd Street in 2021, followed by the latest location in Greenpoint in 2023. 

Our vision is to see MáLà Project thrive into a nationwide brand, welcoming customers from coast to coast with our unique blend of flavors and ambiance, both in our own stores and that of our franchise partners.
