🧑 Sultan Baghlaf

Sultan Baghlaf is a seasoned data science professional with a diverse background in research and industry. Currently serving as the Founding Data Scientist at Malaa Technologies since July 2022, Sultan previously held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Mozn from December 2019 to July 2022, where early career experience also included a Data Scientist role at Mozn. Significant contributions in research include work as a Research Intern at KAUST, focusing on hyperparameter tuning for TensorFlow neural networks on the Shaheen-II supercomputer, and a similar role at North Carolina State University, where simulation software for dual-frequency HIFU thrombolysis was developed. Sultan holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from KAUST and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis, complemented by participation in the Shad Valley Program at Lakehead University.
