Sameh El Ashi serves as the Director of Application and Head of HIE Development at Malaffi, the Abu Dhabi Health Information Exchange, since October 2017. Under the leadership, Malaffi’s Development Team has achieved recognition for delivering a highly adopted Health Information Exchange platform globally. Previously, Sameh held various roles at Injazat Data Systems from 2006 to 2017, including Application Project Manager, where significant projects included the implementation of a high-capacity claims management system and oversight of the ADFCA eservices platform. Sameh’s experience also includes positions as Production Support Manager, Application Manager, and Oracle Team Leader within the same organization. Earlier roles included Application Developer and DBA at Abu Dhabi Media and Support & Training Engineer at ITCC International Training & Consultancy Centre. Sameh holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Jordan, completed in 2001.
