The name Malakyt is inspired by malachite, a radiant green mineral found throughout Africa and beyond. Known as the “Stone of Transformation”, malachite symbolizes the positive change Malakyt aims to spark within the South African and broader African economy.

Historically, malachite’s vibrant pigment was treasured by ancient African civilisations, most notably the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra, who famously used it as eye shadow to protect her eyes from the desert sun. Rooted in such rich heritage and symbolism, Malakyt represents more than just a tech solution, it’s a transformational journey driven by African excellence, creativity, and legacy.
