Tom H.

Tom H. has a diverse work experience in the humanitarian sector. Tom is currently the Director Global Operations Support and Asia at Malaria Consortium since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Operations at Norwegian Refugee Council from November 2020 to April 2021. Tom also served as an Interim Country Director and Head of Support at Norwegian Refugee Council from June 2018 to September 2020. Before that, Tom H. was a Programme Support Advisor at MAG (Mines Advisory Group) from November 2017 to March 2018, and a Country Director at MAG from May 2016 to August 2017. Tom held the position of Systems Director at Concern Worldwide from January 2015 to April 2016. Tom H. has also worked as an Assistant Country Director - Systems at GOAL Ireland from August 2013 to November 2014. Additionally, they have experience as a Country Director and Country Finance Manager - Sudan at MAG from October 2012 to August 2013, and as a Country Finance Director North Sudan at Merlin from June 2010 to December 2011. Tom H. started their career as a Finance manager - Borneo at Raleigh International from January 2010 to April 2010.

Tom H. completed their undergraduate education at The University of Sheffield from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Tom furthered their education at ICAEW from 2004 to 2007, achieving an ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) degree. During their time at ICAEW, they studied various subjects including Accounting, Audit, Financial Reporting, Tax, Business Management, and Business Finance.
