Don Foster

Don Foster, Ph.D., has been involved in the biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, drug discovery industry for over 30 years in roles including research scientist, Vice President of Research, Corporate Vice President, Chief Scientific Officer, and recently as a Portfolio Planning Consultant. He was involved in the Seattle start-up, Zymogenetics, and Implicit Biosciences.

Don was Vice President of Autoimmune Research for Novo Nordisk, a global healthcare company with markets in 180 countries. During 28 years in drug discovery, he has headed some of the most prolific discovery teams in the fields of immune-mediated diseases with a key role in the discovery and bringing forward six drugs in current clinical development, four marketed products (Zovant™, Cleactor™, Human Factor VII™, RecoThrom™), and is an inventor on 48 issued US patents. Dr. Foster earned his Ph.D. in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Washington.
