Ewa Hugh

Ewa Hugh is a Senior Contracts Manager at Palo Alto Networks. Ewa joined the company as the 2nd member of the contracts group and was responsible for creating a legal database and ensuring that contractual language passed muster from internal and external auditors in preparation of the company's IPO.

Post-IPO, Hugh worked with Revenue Recognition (Finance) at each month end and quarter end to ensure that the company's contracts were clean to meet auditors compliance standards. Other responsibilities included creation of approval process and signature matrix, data integrity policy, and KPI reporting to track cycle time of contracts.

Hugh reviewed all contracts, both inbound and outbound, to ensure compliance with company policies and developed counter-proposals for negotiation to the desired result. Ewa also prepared initial drafts and negotiated commercial agreements for channel distribution, indirect resellers, and also including vendor contracts for procurement, inbound license, outbound license, marketing, distribution, professional services, statements of work, services and support and non-disclosure agreements.

In addition to their contract responsibilities, Hugh also managed the company's standard contract templates, including document revision control, clause refining, and development of new contract templates to reflect the needs of the company's growth pre-IPO and post-IPO.

Ewa Hugh has a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from UC San Diego, and a law degree from Golden Gate University. Ewa is also certified as a Notary Public by the California Secretary of State.
