Heather West has a diverse background in both the brewing and education sectors. From February 2014 to July 2018, Heather served as a bartender and former taproom manager at Station 26 Brewing Co. This experience was followed by an assistant taproom manager and online order fulfillment specialist role at Denver Beer Co. from June 2018 to March 2022, along with leading as a beertender. Prior to that, Heather worked as a bartender at Hogshead Brewing Company from June 2012 to April 2014. Heather's educational career included positions as the director of instrumental and vocal music at Denver Public Schools, a music teacher at Custer County High School, and a middle school music teacher at Jeffco Public Schools. In addition, Heather held the role of e-learning specialist at Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains from March 2020 to March 2022. Heather earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Teacher Education from Monmouth College and a Master of Education in Educational/Instructional Media Design from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Recently, Heather worked as the Education Programs Manager at Malbek in April 2025.
