Randy Ritchie

Randy Ritchie studied advertising and marketing at Pepperdine University in Malibu. He worked as a screenwriter and producer, as well as a landscape designer and builder for many years.

His landscape path led him to the creation of Malibu Compost. He began to see the world in terms of soil and microbes and how they are everything, the start of all life on this planet.

The soil led him to the love of his life because she asked him to teach a gardening class at the community garden she co-created. It has also led him to teach organic gardening classes and workshops in nurseries and garden clubs all over the United States.
