Mallaig Harbour is a busy West Coast Port, servicing the fishing and Aquaculture industries, and providing infrastructure for lifeline ferry services operated by CalMac and private operators. Ferries operate to Skye; North Uist; The Small Isles of Eigg, Rum, Muck and Canna; and to the Knoydart peninsula, and suring the summer months there are up to 30 ferry movements each day.  Mallaig is one of the most picturesque villages on the rugged North West coastline of Scotland. The area is a haven for sailors of all types and Mallaig Yachting Marina provides the ideal location for experiencing and exploring the magnificent sailing opportunities available on the West Coast of Scotland.
The Harbour provides a range of services including warehousing for aquaculture feed; a flake ice plant and shore power for vessels, and also hosts a salmon harvesting station serviced by daily well boats; two fish processors and a shore base for Scottish Seafarms. An RNLI Severn class lifeboat also operates from the Harbour.
