Matt Umney is an experienced fitness coach and sports scientist with a diverse background in professional football coaching and performance management. Currently serving as the 1st Team Physical Performance & Rehabilitation Coach at Malmö FF, Matt has previously held positions including Fitness Coach & Sports Scientist at AC Sparta Praha fotbal, a.s., Sports Scientist at AFC Wimbledon, and First Team Sports Scientist at Sutton United Football Club. Additional experience includes leading the U14 academy team at Aldershot Town Football Club and serving as the Head Football Coach at the University of Westminster. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Football Injury Reconditioning from FSI Training and a Master's degree in Strength & Conditioning from Leeds Beckett University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science from Brunel University London.
