Malo + Conner is a boutique executive search practice built for dealership groups facing pivotal leadership decisions.

We specialize in high-stakes placements — GMs, Fixed Ops Directors, CFOs, Controllers, and Dealer Principal succession — where a mis-hire creates real operational and cultural damage, and the right hire can anchor growth for years.

Our approach is relationship-first and diagnosis-led. We don't send resumes. We run a search. We learn your world — ownership style, culture, and what success actually looks like in the seat. We know the market — the people, the patterns, the true signals. We narrow to a few — so your decision is hard for the right reason, not because you're buried in profiles.

What you get from Malo + Conner:
• Calm process and candid judgment throughout
• Deep dealership fluency — not generalist recruiting
• Pressure-tested fit: leadership style, culture match, and credibility with owners
• A small slate of finalists (3–5), not a pile of profiles
• Discretion — sensitive searches don't become hallway talk
• A partner posture from first call to final placement

When a leadership decision carries real consequences, the process has to be different.
