Prashant Vats has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps engineering. Prashant started their career as a Cloud Intern at the Center for Cloud Tech | Innovation & Learning, where they gained experience in implementing private cloud via OpenStack and achieved provisioning of multiple virtual machines on this stack.

Prashant then joined TO THE NEW as a DevOps Engineer, where they helped set up cloud infrastructure on AWS for various clients and played a key role in driving the Build and Release process for the development team. Prashant also utilized tools like Ansible and Chef for configuration management. Later, they were promoted to the role of Senior DevOps Engineer at the same company. In this role, they led the lift, shift, and re-architecture of applications on the cloud, conceptualized infrastructure management and automation, and established an infrastructure-as-code setup for environment setup.

Currently, Prashant is working at Maltego Technologies as a Senior DevOps Engineer. Prashant'sresponsibilities include leading a migration project for 50+ microservices from App Service to Kubernetes, implementing Istio for mutual TLS and version-based traffic split in the Kubernetes infrastructure, and managing application stacks involving JVM, Node, and Python applications using data stores like CosmoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis.

Prashant Vats pursued a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications from reputable institutions.
