Dave Nelson

Dave Nelson has extensive experience in the cybersecurity field, with a notable tenure at Malwarebytes since September 2012, where multiple roles have included Director of Threat Labs Research and Response, Senior Manager of Windows Research, and Threat Researcher, focusing on the research and analysis of malware threats. Prior to Malwarebytes, Dave Nelson held positions as a Threat Research Analyst at Webroot Software and as a Malware Analyst at both Prevx and Lavasoft. Earlier in the career, Dave Nelson worked as a Mechanic at Malnar Industries for over a decade. Educational qualifications include a Journeyman degree in HVAC-R from RRC Polytech and foundational education from Nelson McIntyre.
