David Ruiz

David Ruiz is a Content Marketing and Communications Manager at Malwarebytes, where they have been a Senior Privacy Advocate since 2019. A founding member of the Coalition Against Stalkerware, David leads advocacy efforts in original research and media engagement, and has presented at notable tech summits. Previously, they were a staff writer for several publications, including The Recorder and the Daily Journal Corp, and served as a policy analyst at the Electronic Frontier Foundation. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture with a minor in English from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master’s degree in Communication, Journalism from Stanford University.
