John Moore

John Moore is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in engineering and software development. Currently serving as Dev Lead at Malwarebytes since October 2012, John has previously held significant roles as Director of Engineering and Technical Director at Symantec Corp., PCTools Inc., and Novatix Corp., where John managed the transition of the Threatfire product technology and infrastructure. Prior consultancy work at TimeSpring Software Corp. involved leading the device driver team and developing a file system filter for real-time monitoring. As VP of R&D at 1Vision Software and in earlier roles, John contributed to the development of file management software and firmware for tape drives, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to innovation within the technology sector. An alumnus of Kansas State University, John holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
