Jong Purisima

Jong Purisima is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in product management and leadership within the cybersecurity sector. Currently serving as the Director of Core Technology - Product Management at Malwarebytes since January 2016, Jong has also been a co-founder and board member of MUTE since its inception in 2008, focusing on minimizing end-user exposure to computing threats through the exchange of malicious URLs among security researchers. Prior roles include Product Manager at Cisco and GFI Software, and Security Product Manager at Webroot Software. Jong began a career at Trend Micro as a Solutions Product Manager, following an educational background in Computer Engineering from Mapúa University and attendance at Quezon City Science High School.
