Lisa Lorimer has a long and varied work experience. In 1981, they became President and CEO of the Vermont Bread Company. Lisa provided leadership for the management team from start-up to a middle-market wholesale bakery producing all-natural, premium and certified organic breads, rolls and English muffins for supermarkets and natural product stores, including private label for Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s. In 2005, they sold a majority stake in the company to Charterhouse Group and joined the Board of Directors of Charter Baking Company. Lisa worked to implement the vision of a national certified-organic bakery and the exit was in 2014 via sale to a strategic buyer. In 2008, they joined the Board of Directors of Chittenden Bank and The Vermont Community Foundation. In 2017, they co-founded and became CEO of MamaSezz, a company that delivers delicious whole-food plant-based meal staples to customers' doors. In 2020, they took on the role of Logistics Management by MamaSezz Foods for the Everyone Eats Program, which leverages state and federal funds to provide free meals to the community. Lisa is also an investor for Serious Nonsense LLC.

Lisa Lorimer has a long and varied education history. Lisa earned their Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from Norwich University in 1991. Lisa then attended the Community College of Vermont for core general education credits. In 1997, they completed the Owner President Management Program at Harvard Business School. Finally, in 2011, they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
