Vanessa Clark has a diverse work experience, starting as a Staff Assistant for the United States Senate with Senator Patrick Leahy in 2002. Vanessa then worked as an Executive Assistant for the Vermont Agency of Agriculture Food & Markets before transitioning to the private sector. Vanessa held roles in operations management at New Breed Marketing and MyWebGrocer before moving to Aspenti Health, where they served as VP of Client Experience, VP of Business Operations & Integrated Systems, and ultimately as SVP of Operations. Vanessa also worked at Beta Technologies before taking on the role of Program Advisor for the Women in Leadership Program at the University of Vermont Grossman School of Business. Currently, Vanessa is the SVP of Operations & Integrated Systems at Mamava and will be transitioning to the role of Chief Product & Data Officer starting in January 2024.
Vanessa Clark earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Vermont in 2002. Prior to that, they studied Environmental Studies at Lesley University from 1998 to 2000 through the Audbon Expedition Institute program. Vanessa also obtained additional certifications, including a Laboratory Operational Management Certificate from the American Association for Clinical Chemistry in 2020 and a Professional Certificate in Leadership & Management from the University of Vermont in 2011.
