Breastfeeding is the optimal way to feed a baby for their first six months according to the WHO. Its not just food; breastmilk adapts to meet the baby’s evolving needs and breastfeeding is what the human body is designed to do.

Despite its benefits, only 1% of mothers in the UK continue breastfeeding this long with eight out of ten stopping before they'd like to, mainly due to positioning and latching difficulties.

Breastfeeding can be challenging, but the right support can make a real difference.

Mamilla empowers mothers to make informed, personalised choices, helping them find what works best for their own feeding journey. By combining the Mamilla app with a tactile training doll, Mamilla introduces a new approach to breastfeeding education, by giving mothers a hands-on practice run.

During the later stages of pregnancy mothers can practice with Mamilla so that they go into breastfeeding feeling prepared, empowered and confident. Post-birth, Mamilla is on-hand to provide support when most of the difficulties arise.
