Catherine Yang

Catherine (Chen) Yang is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in investment management and regulatory affairs. Currently serving as Head of Product Legal at Man Numeric since April 2019, Catherine oversees the legal team for one of the world's largest hedge fund managers, focusing on legal support for managed accounts and hedge funds. Prior roles include Associate General Counsel at AQR Capital Management and Legal Counsel for Deutsche Bank's Asset & Wealth Management division. Catherine began their career at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP and Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, concentrating on the structuring of hedge funds, private equity funds, and providing regulatory advice. Academically, Catherine holds a J.D. from Cornell Law School and a B.A. from Peking University.
