Gary Collier

Gary Collier has extensive experience in technology leadership, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Man Group since September 2001. Collier has held various titles including CTO for Man Alpha Technology and Co-CTO for Man AHL, overseeing teams in AHL's Core Technology, Quantitative Research, Trading Platform, and Market Data Engineering, with expertise in Python, Java, Oracle, MongoDB, and Linux. Prior experience includes significant roles at Accenture Technology Solutions, where Collier developed software for financial settlement platforms, and at BAE Systems, where software for command and control systems was created. Collier holds a Master of Arts in Physics and Theoretical Physics from the University of Cambridge.
