Rohan Patel

Rohan Patel is a Quantitative Research Analyst at Man Group, specializing in the research and development of systematic alpha strategies through statistics and machine learning, with a focus on global equity strategies. Previous experience includes work as a Machine Learning Researcher at Cornell University, where Rohan was mentored by Turing Award Winner John Hopcroft, and a Summer Analyst role at Goldman Sachs, applying analytical tools in equities markets. Rohan has also interned at Point72, worked on a funded research grant at Cornell Digital Systems Laboratory that explored machine learning in electricity markets, and participated in multiple research initiatives during academic tenure at Cornell University and New Jersey Institute of Technology. Rohan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University.
