John Eilers

John Eilers is a dedicated correctional executive with over 31 years of experience, predominantly within the Illinois Department of Corrections and Management & Training Corporation. They began their career in 1993 as a Correctional Officer and climbed the ranks to senior leadership positions, including Chief of Operations and Deputy Director of the Central Region, where they managed multiple facilities and focused on policy development and emergency management. Currently, Eilers serves as the Director of Corrections at Management & Training Corporation, leveraging extensive knowledge in facility security, population management, and strategic planning. They hold a Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Western Illinois University.
