Shirley Chan works as a support worker at Manawanui, providing advice, support, and resources to individuals and families. Prior to this, Shirley worked at The Peace Foundation NZ as a peer mentor and advanced mediator, earning the Mediator of the Year award in 2020. During their time at Mt Roskill Grammar School, Shirley was involved in fundraising and acted as a student ambassador and guide. Shirley is currently pursuing their education at The University of Auckland from 2022 to 2024.
