Al Kari has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Al started their career as the Director of Information Technology at Roger's Gardens in 2001 and worked there until 2005. In 2005, they joined Dell, Inc. as the Practice Lead for Cloud Computing, Virtualization, and Data Center Optimization, where they stayed until 2011. From 2011 to 2014, Al Kari co-founded and served as the CEO of DetaCloud. Al then joined Red Hat as the Principal Enterprise Architect in the Cloud Practice division, responsible for the adoption of Red Hat Cloud Infrastructure and OpenStack Platform in the telecommunications industry. In 2016, they joined Microsoft as a Global Cloud Strategist, focusing on cloud strategies and solutions. Currently, Al Kari is the CEO of Manceps, Inc., a company dedicated to helping organizations transform their businesses using machine learning, artificial intelligence, data science, and cloud technologies.

Al Kari began their education in 1986 at Damascus University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Informatics & Mathematics. Al successfully completed their studies in 1990. Later, in 2012, Al Kari attended Stanford University, where they specialized in Technology Entrepreneurship. Their field of study focused on Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Studies. The duration of their time at Stanford University is unknown.
