Andrew Moore

Andrew Moore's work experience includes various roles in the cybersecurity field. Andrew is currently working as a Principal Threat Analyst at Google since November 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at Mandiant starting in January 2022. At Mandiant, they also served as a Senior Threat Analyst, Advanced Practices from June 2021 to January 2022. Before joining Mandiant, Andrew held the position of Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst at FireEye, Inc. from September 2018 to June 2021. Andrew also worked at Capital One as a Threat Hunter from June 2016 to September 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked at Red Arch Solutions as a Senior Cyber Fusion Analyst and Junior Program Manager, Sotera Defense Solutions, Inc. as a Watch List Analyst/Editor, and served in the United States Marine Corps in various roles including Korean Linguist, Signals Intelligence Analyst, Collection Manager, and SIGINT Geospatial Analyst.

Andrew Moore earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus, which they attended from 2011 to 2012. In 2006 to 2007, Andrew attended the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center, however, no degree is specified for that time period. Additionally, Andrew has obtained several certifications, including GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA) from GIAC Certifications in December 2017, GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM) from GIAC in June 2016, CompTIA Linux (Powered by LPI) from CompTIA in October 2014, LPIC-1: Linux Server Professional Certification from the Linux Professional Institute in October 2014, CompTIA Network ce from CompTIA in April 2014, and CompTIA Security ce from CompTIA in April 2014.
