Andrew Nelson

Andrew Nelson is a seasoned professional in incident response and security consulting, currently serving as a Manager at Mandiant, which is part of Google Cloud, since February 2021. Previously, Andrew held roles as a Principal Incident Response Consultant at Cylance Inc. and a Senior Security Engineer at Palo Alto Networks. Earlier experience includes positions as an Incident Response Analyst at Chevron and a Tier 2 SOC Analyst at NASA Ames Research Center. Andrew's career began at Sotera Defense Solutions, where roles included Intelligence Analyst and Corporate Support Analyst. Andrew holds a Master of Arts in War Studies from King's College London, a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Politics from George Mason University, and recently completed the International Security & Intelligence Programme at the University of Cambridge.
