Chris Higgins

Chris Higgins is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in red teaming and security analysis. Currently serving as a Technical Manager at Mandiant, now part of Google Cloud, Chris has held progressive roles from Associate Red Team Consultant to Principal Red Team Consultant since February 2018. Prior to this, Chris worked as a Security Analyst at Uptake, focusing on blue team strategies to protect data and personnel from threats. Earlier experience includes leading application development and server administration at ISU College of Arts and Sciences IT Training and Advanced Projects, and serving as a Student Web Developer at the same institution. Chris also contributed to the Central Illinois High School Cyber Defense Competition as a White Team Systems Administrator, designing and managing network environments. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Information Technology with a focus on Network and Security Management and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology specializing in Web Design, both from Illinois State University.
