Evan Wright

Evan Wright is a highly experienced Senior Security Data Scientist at Google since November 2022 and a Staff Data Scientist at Mandiant since January 2019, focusing on machine learning modeling and automation in threat intelligence, network analysis, attribution, and forensics. Previously, as a Principal Data Scientist at Anomali from December 2015 to December 2018, Evan specialized in machine learning for threat intelligence, developing new bad guy detectors. Evan's career began at CERT as a Member of the Technical Staff in the Network Situational Awareness Group, contributing to security analysis of networks. Other roles include Network Administrator at ABC Phones, managing a wide network across multiple locations, and Sales Associate at Radioshack, addressing technical issues. Evan holds a Master of Science in Information Security from Carnegie Mellon University, a Bachelor of Science in Technology Systems, Business Administration, and Computer Science from East Carolina University, and an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Networking from Baker College.
