James Hovious

James Hovious is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various roles within the field. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Mandiant (part of Google Cloud) since January 2015, James leads the Intel Operations Collections & Research team and functions as a Threat Intel Analyst and Lead Red Team Consultant. James has held multiple secondary roles, including EMEA Red Team Function Lead and course instructor. Prior to Mandiant, James served in the United States Marine Corps as a Supply Administration and Operations Specialist and had roles in security engineering, mobile application development, and various internships in finance, IT, and operations. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on International Business from American University’s Kogod School of Business.
