James Young

James Young is a seasoned security professional with over a decade of experience in various leadership roles across the information security sector. Currently a Senior Security Consultant at Mandiant, part of Google Cloud, since March 2024, James has previously served as Principal Consultant at Touchpaper Security Inc. from April 2011 to March 2024, and held significant positions at organizations such as RBC, CPP Investments, and the Ontario Securities Commission. With expertise ranging from security architecture to management, James has also contributed to the academic field by earning a Post Graduate Certificate in Industrial Control Systems Security from SANS Technology Institute, an MSc in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a BA in Environmental Studies from Trent University.
