Jon Cooper

Jon Cooper is an experienced professional in incident response and cybersecurity, currently serving as the Manager of Incident Response at Mandiant, now part of Google Cloud, since October 2023. Prior to this role, Jon held multiple senior positions at Secureworks from January 2017 to October 2023, including Senior Manager for Security Response Consulting and Head of Incident Response for Asia Pacific-Japan South, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing consulting teams, managing customer engagements, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Jon's earlier experience includes roles as an Incident Response and Forensic Consultant at Mandiant, and as a Federal Agent involved in cybercrime operations with the Australian Federal Police, focusing on investigating and responding to cyber threats. Jon also served as a Constable with Victoria Police, gaining foundational skills in public safety and law enforcement. Educational qualifications include a Diploma of Public Safety (Policing) from the Victoria Police School of Local Policing and a degree from Swinburne University of Technology.
