Michael Rodriguez

Michael Rodriguez has extensive expertise in cybersecurity, currently serving as the Manager of Google Public Sector Cyber Physical Security at Mandiant, a Google Cloud subsidiary, since April 2018. In this role, Michael leads a team focused on security assessments, program development, and threat hunting. Additionally, Michael co-founded ThruntCon, fostering collaboration among cybersecurity leaders. Previous roles include senior consultancy positions at Mandiant and McAfee, where Michael managed incident response and threat intelligence. Michael's career also encompasses positions in network security and system administration across various organizations, including Bed Bath & Beyond and the State of New Jersey Department of Human Services. Michael holds a B.S. in Information Technology from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and completed specialized training in Cyber Threat Intelligence and Security Operations from the SANS Technology Institute.
