Ryan Whalen has a strong background in founding and leading companies in the language-learning and internet industries. Ryan founded Mango Languages in 2007 and has held various roles including Founder/Business Development Strategist, Founder/Creative Director, and Founder/CMO. Mango Languages has become the most popular self-study language software in public libraries across the USA. Prior to Mango Languages, Whalen founded Creative Empire LLC in 2004 where they served as Founder/CMO, successfully designing and managing online brands and generating over $1 million in annual sales. Ryan also founded iLevel Internet in 2003 where they served as Founder/Creative Director, working closely with clients to develop successful commercial internet properties. Whalen's career began at Digital Compositions where they served as Founder/Lead Designer from 2002 to 2003.

Ryan Whalen completed their education in a sequential manner. Ryan started their higher education at Wayne State University, where they pursued a BFA Program in Graphic Design from 1999 to 2003.
