John E. Maynard

John E. Maynard is Director of Product Design at Manifold, where he owns our design process—from discovery through deployment. He works closely with customers, from the start, to ensure our teams build products that both are beautiful and provide business value.

Prior to Manifold, John was a Staff Engineer and Designer at Blink Health. There, he handled the product design and implementation (using React) of a new cloud-based pharmacy web application. Before Blink, John was Head of Design at Kayak, where he was responsible for product design across all apps (web, iOS, watchOS, and Android); he also led all site redesign efforts for three years, increasing product usability and conversions year over year. During his time at Kayak, his designs for the Apple Watch were used in marketing material displayed at Apple stores.

John has a BS in Computer Science from the University of New Hampshire. He was the 2014 and 2015 winner of the People’s Voice Webby Award for Mobile Sites and Apps.
