Zach Dockter

Zach Dockter is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Manitex since 2024, following a 15-year tenure as Engineering Manager at Manitex, Inc., where responsibilities included designing electrical and hydraulic control systems for mobile cranes and the development of schematics, harnesses, and PLC software for hydraulic functions in cranes ranging from 17 to 85 tons. Prior to this, Zach worked as a Design Engineer at Badger Equipment, focusing on electrical harness design for rough terrain cranes and telescopic excavators. Zach holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota Duluth, obtained in 2008.
